Your team built an app. We keep it alive.

Somebody in your company built an internal tool: a ticket list, a booking sheet, a stock register. It works. Then the questions start. Who hosts it? Who installs the security updates? Who answers when it stops on a Monday morning? Appkeep takes the app and runs it for you. Hosting, security updates, backups and a set amount of new development work every month, for one price.

Your app stays yours. You can take it away at any time.

Tell us about your app

We are choosing the first companies now. Answer four questions and we tell you what it costs to run your app.

The app that nobody wants to own

A person in your company builds something useful. The company is happy with the tool and unhappy with what comes after it:

What you get

Hosting

Your app runs on our platform with its own web address, a certificate, and a database that is backed up every day.

Security updates

We patch the parts your app is built from. You do not get a list of faults to read. We install them.

It keeps running

We watch the app. If it stops, we repair it. You do not need a person on call inside your company.

New work each month

Your plan includes a quantity of development work. You ask for a change and we build it. No quote, no project, no meeting.

How you ask for a change

This is the part that companies get wrong. If everybody can ask for anything, nothing is finished. So the work is measured and one person decides.

  1. Anybody in your company writes the request. One box, plain words, inside the app itself.
  2. We answer with a size. Small, medium or large, and what it costs in the work credits your plan includes. You see the number before anything is built.
  3. Your administrator approves it. One named person in your company decides what is built and in what order. Nobody else can spend the credits.
  4. We build it and put it live. The change goes into your app. Unused credits carry to the next month.

What it is not

You may be looking forWhat Appkeep is
A tool to build apps yourself We take an app that exists and we run it. Building is part of the service, not a screen you have to learn.
A server you rent A rented server is empty. You still own the updates, the backups and the telephone at night. We own those.
An agency that bills by the hour One price each month, and the work included in it is a number you can read before you buy.
A big business system Your app does one job, the way your company does that job. We do not ask you to change the job.

Questions

Do I need to know how to program?

No. You describe what the app must do. If you already built something, we take it as it is.

Who owns the app?

You do. We hold a copy of the code and the data for you, and we give you both if you ask. There is no lock on the door.

Where does the data live?

In the European Union. We sign a data processing agreement with you.

What if I need a lot of new work in one month?

You buy more credits for that month. The price for one credit is the same as in your plan.

What does it cost?

That is what we are measuring now. Tell us the size of your app in the form above and we answer you with a price.
